Power management controls a computers use and conservation of power. Windows 2000 Professional implements a system-wide, integrated approach to power management. In compliance with the OnNow design initiative, the operating systems power management features conserve energy while the computer is working and put the computer to sleep when it is not working. The trend with many after-market keyboards is to add extra buttons, keys and features. While a good percentage of keyboards sold today--and even included with systems--go beyond "the basics" of a regular 104-key keyboard, some go well beyond it, adding not just extra buttons but entire peripherals. The default settings have been
